Prince albert cairn

The Prince Albert cairn is a modern pyramid that commemorates the life of Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria, near Balmoral Castle.

It was built in 1862 and it the only memorial cairn on the estate that is of a pyramid shape.

For a modern pyramid, it is reasonably substantial, being 35 feet in height
